For Exotic Pets
Outside of BloomingPaws Vet Clinic, exotic pets can visit on a case-by-case basis. To determine if we can care for your pet, please contact us.
Please provide proof of vaccinations or schedule an appointment with your veterinarian in advance of your visit.
Pets with expired vaccines, diarrhea, vomiting, injury or respiratory illness symptoms will not be admitted to BloomingPaws, LLC. Pets with pre-existing conditions , such as seizures, hip displaysia, recent surgery, etc., will be required to schedule an appointment with our veterinarian prior to boarding. It is important for pet parents to meet our veterinarian. It is common to find problems or potential problems in apparently healthy pets, such as ear infections, gum disease, arthritis, or parasites. Directly educating you about your pet’s health is the best way to achieve our goal of creating joy in the lives of pets and their families.
Any pets that display communicable diseases or parasites (e.g. coughing, sneezing, eye discharge, intestinal parasites, diarrhea, fleas, etc.) after arriving will be isolated from all other pets. Pet parents will be contacted in the event their pet is isolated. If approved by the pet parent, our veterinarian can examine the pet to recommend the best course of action.
Special handling fees may apply if your pet needs to remain isolated.
