Shelter Adoption Benefits
Adopt, don’t shop! BloomingPaws offers multiple benefits for Bloomington Animal Shelter adoptions.
- Free Wellness Exam: Our veterinarians will perform a complimentary nose-to-tail wellness exam on dogs, cats, rabbits, and any other species adopted from the shelter. Notify our veterinary staff of your adoption when you schedule your appointment and bring all relevant paperwork. Note: This free exam does not cover the cost of vaccines or other treatments or medications that may be necessary.
- Useful Information: Our veterinarians will tailor educational information to you and your newly adopted pet’s specific needs. Informative handouts and documents will be organized in new pet folders that we make just for you.
- Online Tools: Use our PetDesk app on your phone to make it easier to manage your pet’s health. It is available for both IOS and Android devices. PetDesk doesn’t take up much space on your phone, and there are no unwanted messages or ads. Plus, it is safe and free. You can learn more on our PetDesk page.
- A Free Day of Daycare: Your newly adopted shelter pet could qualify for a free day of daycare! If you’re interested in Daycare for your pet, their first day is free! You will need to fill out a New Dog Questionnaire or New Cat before scheduling your pet for their first day that will include an evaluation if your interested in Group Play. It’s a good way to get to know us and a good way for us to get to know your pet!
